Some people challenge scientific information with the question, “How do they know that?” The following link provides the steps of how scientific information is derived. Each step from making an observation and asking a question, through conducting further observations, drawing conclusions, and presenting a report is described in attractive video format. It can be used as a “How to” guide in pursuing a science fair project. Or, it is worth having kids watch simply to see how scientific information is obtained.
