Most of our science education is aimed at gaining understanding of things and phenomena that were discovered long ago. This may give kids the impression that there is nothing more to discover. Wrong! Kids need to see that science is ongoing. It only takes the curiosity and questions. Here are sites that cover the latest and ongoing explorations and discoveries.

In addition to the discovery, discuss the curiosity—the question(s) the investigator(s) must have asked themselves — that led to each of these studies.
