Gravity. What direction does it pull?

With a globe in hand, have kids select various cities around the world. Then use “google maps” to pull up those cities and click on “street scenes”. Kids will observe that everywhere on Earth, gravity is experienced in the same way. (Considering the whole Earth, what direction does gravity pull?) Draw them to conclude that gravity is a force that pulls everything toward the center of the Earth. The weight of any object is a measure of gravity’s pull on it.
