All to commonly, a species from a similar ecosystem in a foreign country is introduced. A worst case scenario is, it finds growing conditions ideal and it has no natural enemies in its new location. Hence it grows, reproduces, and spreads out of bounds taking over and crowding out native species. A famous example in eastern deciduous forests of the eastern US is kudzu.

Have kids consider and discuss effects on species in addition to the trees being covered.
      Please post questions kids ask.
